This tool is particularly useful for MX owners as BT30 tools cannot be measured on a surface plate using the Tormach Tool Assistant. The contact surface is lightly preloaded with a spring to prevent damaging tools should you over run the gauge's zero point. Gauge is graduated in 10 micron increments.
